Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Manager based in Croatia to lead and support our HR operations. In this role, you will play a key part in building a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and aligning HR strategies with the company’s objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail oriented, and capable of managing everything from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. You will be working closely with the CEO, while supporting employees at all levels of the organization. 

Please note that this is a low-time commitment role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all HR functions to support the organization’s goals and workforce needs.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership and employees, addressing employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Utilize technology to streamline HR operations, including tools like GSuite, Asana, and HRIS platforms for efficient workflow management.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records, both digital and physical, ensuring easy access and confidentiality.
  • Assist in managing project timelines related to HR projects, such as benefits implementation or policy updates.
  • Prepare reports, communications, and presentations related to HR metrics and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Human Resources Manager 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong technical acumen, with demonstrated experience leveraging technology to enhance HR operations and team efficiency, including the use of tools like GSuite, Asana, and HR platforms for recruiting, onboarding, and internal communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Croatian.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
